Ronan Young '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Ronan Young, and I am currently a 16 year-old Junior at Middlebury Union High School in Vermont, and my happy place is on the volleyball court. I am an IB Diploma Candadate, and on my team I am a starting varsity setter, and team captain as of next year. Even though I have only been playing volleyball for three seasons, I've participated in club (Vibe Volleyball Club), and even helped start the program in my High School. A long, painstaking process, I helped build our MUHS team from 9, young, and inexperienced players, to a 36 person program, where we ranked high in playoffs (4th seed state-wide) in our first-ever varsity season. I am looking for a D-III school where I can grow under a competitive environment, and learn to work with higher level athletes. I am coachable, a quick learner, and a positive force on any team I'm on. My goals are to get all-around better, help my team grow as a group, and elevate my volleyball and college experiences.
