As a dedicated and versatile member of the Harwood Union High School volleyball team, I, Savannah Fulton, have honed my skills as both a setter and a right-side hitter. My journey on the court has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a commitment to teamwork, and a deep love for the game.
From a young age, athletics have been a driving force in my life, providing not only an outlet for my competitive spirit but also a platform for personal growth and leadership. I participated in competitive gymnastics for nearly ten years, competitive CrossFit training for another three years, as well as picking up other sports along the way like track, to eventually land myself as a competitive travel volleyball player. As a setter, I have learned the importance of quick decision-making and precision, ensuring that every set creates the opportunity for my teammates to score. My role as a right-side hitter has further developed my strategic thinking, as I constantly analyze the opposing team's defense to find and exploit weaknesses.
At Harwood Union High School, and on my Vibe U16 club volleyball team, my coaches and teammates have pushed me to exceed my own expectations, fostering an environment where hard work and perseverance are the cornerstones of success. My experiences on the court have taught me the value of resilience, as I've learned to bounce back from setbacks with an even stronger determination to improve.
I bring to the college team not only my skills as a setter and right-side hitter but also my leadership qualities, a strong sense of sportsmanship, and a commitment to maintaining a positive team dynamic. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a collegiate volleyball program, where I can continue to grow as a player and as an individual, both on and off the court.
