My name is Jessica Choe. My college goals and aspirations are to graduate with my business degree in four years, as well as playing volleyball. What makes me a good candidate for the team is that I have great leadership skills and love to support others. I have played volleyball since I was eight years old. I have also played on the Varsity volleyball team since eighth grade, and have learned something new and important each year. In the beginning of each season I try my best to get to know each and every one of my team mates so that I can learn how to support them on and off the court. Since sophomore year I have been the team captain of the Varsity volleyball team and carried my team to conference championships and won, along with traveling to quarterfinals in the state playoffs, and semi-finals. After each school season ends, I then go into club season. I have been playing club volleyball since I was in sixth grade. I am a defensive specialist and also a team captain for both my High School and club volleyball teams. Last year at my schools award ceremony, I won the coaches award. I have gotten academic awards there as well. Other than volleyball, in school I make sure to maintain at least a 3.8 GPA. I played the piano for 10 years, and have also been a Girl Scout for 12 years along with being awarded my silver award.
