My name is Olivia Ernest, and I have been playing volleyball for 8 years and have been horseback riding for 11 years. I love both sports, and enjoy having them in my life to keep me in shape and to develop as an individual. I have excelled in volleyball, playing on travel teams in Northern Virginia 5 years and making the varsity team at Centreville High School every year including my freshman year. With respect to college, I am aspiring to be either an equestrian veterinarian or a clinical psychologist, and ultimately would like to earn a doctorate degree. I am an Outside Hitter/DS and am an extremely hardworking player. I love to be competitive with myself in conditioning and practices to make myself better than I was the day before. The first thing a coach notices about me is the amount of effort I give on and off the court. I also love to have a team that gets along, so I have stepped up and been a leader in making sure things go smoothly on and off the court with the team as well. I was Captain of my Club team and found a leadership role on the court is very satisfying as the energy of player mindset is such a key part of playing your best as a team.
