My name is Kristina Jackson and I love playing volleyball. I am 5’8” and weigh 170lbs. I currently a senior at Highland Springs High School in Richmond, Va. I started playing volleyball in middle school. I also played league volleyball during that time. I made the JV Volleyball team while still in middle school. I made the Varsity team as a Sophomore. I continue to play travel volleyball with The Richmond Volleyball Club, where I was recently on the 16U State Team. I love playing volleyball because it helps me build confidence and provides me the ability to learn more about myself. I am very excited about my path to playing on the college level. I have worked very hard to become the best player I can be. I looked forward to getting better and better.
While playing volleyball is very important to me, my academics are just as important to me. I am currently an honor roll student and I have maintained that status all through middle and high school. I am currently enrolled in the Hermitage High School ACE Technical Center which is a 2 year program where I study Veterinarian Science. I aspire to become a Veterinarian.
I’ve been doing small community and paid services such as babysitting, pet care, and school clubs. I have been awarded for my efforts and taking initiative in my AP classes and have been reached out to by the National Honors Society. I am a current member of the Beta Club.
