My collegiate goals and aspirations are to become extremely successful in the career path I decided to pursue. As of right now I am interested in criminal justice, but recently I got interested in working for the CPS and helping young children that are in desperate need of help. I have a good amount of time on my hands to decide what I want to pursue in the future, but as of now, I do know that I want to help out the deaf community. In my school I take ASL, and coming up this school year it would be my 3rd year of it. I don't want to just take a language and do nothing with it. Deaf people don't get the recognition that they deserve. Back then they were made fun of, and it broke my heart to learn about it, but that's when I decided to help them and to get more involved in ASL.
The reason why I would make a good candidate for their team is because I have the passion and the desire to be great and to be a better athlete. Last season I didn't realize how determined and how committed I was to this sport. In volleyball, I show leadership quality and help my team in any way that I can. If I make a mistake, I don't let it raddle me. I go over what I did wrong in my head and how to fix it. If I continue to make the same mistake, I will turn to my coach for guidance. Last but not least, I am very coachable. Whoever becomes my coach in the future, I would look forward in learning new things and being corrected and fixing all my flaws that I may have and just helping me be an exceptional athlete to them and my team.
I stand out from other athletes, due to the fact, that I am very personable and determined to achieve my goals. I will strive every day to be a better version of myself than I was the day before, in academics and volleyball.
