Makenna Luba '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Makenna Luba, and I'm a libero and team captain on Virginia Volleyball Academy's 17s team. What makes me a unique player is that I'm a natural-born leader, very quick on my feet, and an extremely hard worker. My coaches have described me as the person that brings energy to the court and a naturally competitive athlete that pushes my teammates to be the best players they can be. I'm driven and work very hard to have as many individual digs and team wins as possible.  My ideal coach would be one that pushes me to be the best I can be and works individually with me to ensure I'm performing at the highest possible level. My ideal college is a DII or DIII school with a lively campus and a good psychology program. With more training this summer and coming year, I am confident enough in my skills and work ethic to say that I earned the chance to be considered for a competitive program.
