The first time I ever stepped onto a volleyball court I was 5 and living in Texas. I knew then, that this was what I wanted to do for as long as I could. I've played volleyball in Texas and in Virginia. I love learning new things and how to better myself as a player, leader, and student of the game. I started my volleyball career playing as a Libero but as I got older, my coaches saw potential in me as a Setter. I started setting and slowly but surely I made the transition from Libero to a Setter/DS.
I would love to play volleyball at the collegiate level at a school that pushes me to become a better volleyball, leader, and student. Outside of volleyball, I am an active member at my church where I work in childcare and I take part in Jack and Jill of America. I currently have a 3.9 GPA as a Freshman in high school.
In college I would love to major in Kinesiology and minor in Biology. I strive to become a Sports Medicine Doctor and work with athletes of all ages.
On the court I can play every position but my specialties are Setter and Defensive Specialist. I am very quick on the court and smart with the game. I know which hitters to feed the balls to when I'm setting and I know where the best spot to pass is when playing DS. My jump float serve is extremely effective and consistent and I can easily place balls where I want to with it. My leadership ability, skills, and instincts make me a great candidate for colleges looking for a player like me.
