I would be a good candidate for any school because of my ability to learn and adapt in uncomfortable environments. When I started wrestling my freshmen year, I was out of shape, unathletic, and had zero motivation to get stuff done. The only reason I came out to wrestle my freshmen year is because my friends wanted to try something new. I learned to love the sport because it exposed me for what I was, a coward. While wrestling did beat me down, it taught me so many valuable lessons that I will be able to utilize for the rest of my life. Wrestling taught me the most valuable lessons in life through failure, humiliation, and hardship. Because of this sport I aspire to be the best version of myself, that is why I must wrestle in college.
