Hi! I was born in Jamaica and immigrated to the USA with my dad when I was 5 years old. I am a first generation college student. I started playing volleyball in middle school as an outside hitter and fell in love with the game. To be honest, my dad, who played men's volleyball in Jamaica, pretty much forced me to play at first but as I put in the work and got better, I got more and more excited about it. Since that time I have participated in volleyball consistently at the Boys and Girls Club, at my middle and high school (on the varsity team as of my sophomore year), and this past season through American Volleyball Club, where I transitioned to Middle Hitter. I now volunteer coach at the Boys and Girls Club and love seeing the young girls fall in love with the sport just like I did. I love inspiring them and helping them improve their skills and simultaneously build their confidence.

I am a goal achiever. I take time to try and get things done right. I am coachable.
