Hello. My name is Lizzie Wagner and I'm a freshmen at Oakcrest School in Vienna, VA. I've been playing volleyball for 6 years. I have played 2 club seasons (not including this upcoming season) and I'm on my high school varsity team. I've transitioned to a DS/L for this club season, but I was an outside hitter for my first two years of club. I worked with a coach over the summer to improve my defense skills and now play DS for my high school varsity team. My goal for college is to work hard and continue to improve so that I can play D1 or D2. I work hard, love having a team and building bonds with my teammates, and building confidence. I try my best in school and try to stay focused on and off the court. I do homework before practice, and study before and after practice. I balance school and sports pretty evenly and I've learned how to prioritize my school time when something big is coming up. I've also learned how to be organized and to make sure that I have enough time for both sports and school.
