Destini Moore '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Destini Moore and I play outsider hitter for Grafton High School in Yorktown VA.  I am a true STUDENT-athlete as I work just as hard in the classrooms as I do on the court/field.  I currently have a 3.2 GPA.  I will pursue a degree in Psychology in college.     

What I bring to a program?  I have been in the GHS volleyball program for 4 years, the last two at the varsity level.   I am a two-sport athlete (Track and volleyball).   I competed at the highest level at every sport I have played and have been successful.  I have a 10th place finish (Discus) and 2 x state runner up(volleyball) under my belt. I am hoping to carry this success to the next level, if given an opportunity 

I will also bring to your team, a great teammate, with a high volleyball IQ and athletic enough to learn/play several positions on the volleyball court.  I am a hard worker and dedicated to my sport and team, are just a few things I will bring to your program.    My family believes in, "you can't hide hard work".    In playing multiple sports, I believe it helps make me a better volleyball player.   I love to compete and challenge myself to be the best.
