After highschool I would love to play volleyball at a university or a club team. I've found interest in business management, elementary education and physical therapy, but I'm not sure what path to take yet. This last 2019-20 season was my junior year, I spent about half of it swinging between JV and varsity. Although moving from varsity to JV was disappointing, it motivated me to work harder and earn a position on varsity. I learned a lot between the two teams, and I'm thankful that I got the playing time on JV that wouldn't have been there on varsity. By the end of our league season I was starting right-side on varsity from our first district game to our last state game. Our team is known for our energy and spirit, being one of the loudest teams in the league, I am beyond proud to be a part of that, we do a lot of exercises to build our mentality and that work done during season that has transferred into my everyday life, being relentless, strong, and energetic, no matter where you are. Being on this team has built my mentality, my personality and work ethic. I've learned to work through mental blocks, to be thankful for the position I'm currently in, but never complacent or stagnant, and to push myself to the limit, then one step further; all whether I am at practice, in class, or playing in a game.
Thank you for your time!
