Ever since I was little my mom has always been my biggest role model. I remember her telling me about when she played volleyball in high school and college and the passion she had for it. When I was 9, I started to play myself and quickly understood why she loved it so much! I respected the commitment and teamwork it took to play the sport, which has shaped me into the person I am today.
I am originally from the west coast and moved to Ohio five years ago. Now, I am moving back to Washington state to finish my high school career. I enjoy visiting my family all over the U.S. and traveling to new places. As a person who is always seeking an adventure, I look forward to visiting other colleges, meeting new people, and competing across the United States. In addition to volleyball, I also love to sing and perform in my school’s choir. Being an animal enthusiast, spending time with my dog is very important to me.
I was recently cleared from a knee injury after 10 months of rehabilitation. Although a serious injury like mine is not ideal, I learned a lot from my experience and my passion for volleyball has grown. I am beyond excited to continue my volleyball career in college.
