I have been playing volleyball since my sixth grade year and as soon as I began I fell in love with the sport. The more I played I realized that I wanted to continue to play beyond my senior year of high school. Throughout my life I have always played sports at a competitive level. It wasn't until my freshman year of high school that I knew that volleyball was the only sport I wanted to play. Through my years of playing competitive volleyball, I have gained more confidence and persistence in my life. Being a libero has taught me to strive to be better every day and to never give up on anything. Volleyball isn't just a sport to me, it's my passion. I devote a majority of my time to volleyball, but I also make sure that I have time to maintain a high GPA and stay on top of my studies. I am constantly challenging myself in both athletics and academics. For example, I am taking challenging classes continuing to maintain a cumulative GPA of a 3.893. I am also a part of National Honor Society at my school. Not only does this show that I am determined to maintain a high GPA, it also shows that I enjoy being a part of the community and helping in any way that I can.
