Kerragyn Heacock '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name Kerragyn Heacock. I am currently a Senior attending Marysville Getchell High School in Marysville, WA . I will be graduating in 2022. I live with my parents Mike & Carleen and 3 siblings.                                                                                                                         

I started playing volleyball at the age of 7, and I knew right away that the sport of volleyball would be my passion. My dream is to someday earn a college degree and play at the highest level of volleyball. In order to accomplish this goal, I realize it will take a lot of hard work and dedication. 

I have a busy work schedule working out three times a week doing strength and agility with a personal trainer along with practicing with my club team twice a week which has taught me to manage my time both academically and athletically. Achieving a degree is important to me. I will be looking for a school that has a strong Elementary Education program specializing in Special Education.

I am a player that is coachable and wants to continually learn to become a better person and volleyball player. One of my strengths is my mental approach to the game. I enjoy competition and want to be challenged at the highest level so I can gain experience for future matches and implement strategies that will not only benefit my performance but help the team win! I love my teammates and always strive to lift them up and be a positive enforcer.

By the end of my senior year in high school, I will have played eight years of club volleyball and four years of Varsity competition as a starter. and two years as Captain.  Through my high school and club years, hopefully, my experiences both on and off the court will help me make a smooth transition to the college game.

I am a Full Rotation OH/DS looking for a program that can showcase all of my abilities and skills. I am very confident in all my skills and feel I can impact your program immediately.
