Candace Disney '18 Recruiting Profile

Everyone has a passion of their own, mine is volleyball.  I believe that every successful volleyball player needs to have ambition, good work ethic, a positive attitude, dedication,  be competitive no matter who is on the other side of the net, have determination to improve, and play with heart. I believe that I have the ambitious, passionate, and competitive mindset that you are looking for. I remember sitting in a desk at freshman orientation one night and the teachers asked us to write down what we wanted to accomplish next year. I wrote down to make the Varsity volleyball team. Looking back on that day, and knowing that I accomplished my goal of making Varsity as a sophomore, it feels amazing. I would love to be able to look back on this feeling of aspiration to play college ball and say, "I made it."
