In the past, I have played as a right-side hitter as well as an outside until two years ago when my team needed a middle. I stepped up and learned to be a very versatile player who can succeed both in more blocking and faster-paced positions such as a middle blocker, along with the quick thinking and coverage skills you find in a pin hitter. I go wherever I am needed by my coaches and team and can make the changes necessary to succeed and grow. I am a very coachable, dedicated, hardworking, vocal, and reliable player who looks at the whole court rather than just certain areas. I communicate well with my teammates throughout games and practices about seams, open spots to hit and serve at, weak areas on the opposing court, and cheering on my fellow teammates. Along with being both ambitious and energetic.
In college, I aspire to continue playing the sport I love at a higher level regardless of the college's classifications. While at the same time not cutting myself short on the academic side of school. Just like I work hard to maintain my starting position on varsity, I work hard to maintain a high GPA while taking on the challenge of running start classes and balancing the other aspects of my life.
I am vigorous and charismatic while still being quick-witted on and off the court and that is what sets me aside from others.
