When i came to the age of 10 i decided to explore different sports and environments and the only place that felt like home to me was the volleyball court. The environment was friendly and felt like family and ever since then i strive to bring a supportive and calm presence on and off the court. These characteristics lead into me being more competitive as i want to my team reach the goals we all want to achieve.
In college i aspire to continue to grow as a person and an athlete from this sport and bring what i learned with me to the outside world. Regarding my goals academically I want to enter the medical field to learn how to help adolescents and how to keep them healthy. Pediatric’s has been a career ive been looking into since i was little. After seeing how my doctors cared for me and the support they always provided, pushed me to want to do the same.
I volunteer at YMCA to help with food banks and taking care of the youth when their parents are busy. When i reach the age of 16 i am going to start helping at the childrens hospital. Going into this school year i will be joining a club at school called “Knights Who Care” which supports those with chronic illnesses.
