My name is Lila Payne, I am a Junior at Nathan Hale High School, and I have been playing volleyball since 4th grade. I have played on my high school's Varsity team as a setter for the past three years. My competitive spirit sets me ahead of my opponents and helps me be a leader on the court. I have been a captain for my high school team for the last two seasons. In addition to my high school experience, I play for the Washington Volleyball Academy club team. I am considered a versatile player. My main position is setter, and I am a capable defensive specialist as well.
Outside of volleyball, I am a conscientious and hardworking student. I strive to do my best in all aspects of my life both on and off the court. I value friends and family which is why I am interested in staying in or near my home state of Washington for college. Playing in college has been a long-term goal for me.
