Personal Statement

My collegiate goals are to obtain a degree in a field that will allow me to pursue a job I am deeply passionate about and will keep my mind alive for the years to come. As a High School student in South Bend, I am known to be incredibly responsible and have never failed to get my work in on time. Despite how shy I can be, I have never been absent in a class conversations or have let the opportunity to ask a question slip. Because of this, I have been on Honor Roll for my entire High School career and in National Honor Society since my sophomore year. Volleyball has been a huge contribution to my academic success, being on the court and around my team has helped alleviate my stress and keep my head clear. The game has also been one of my biggest motivations to keep my grades where they should be. As a player and a teammate it is my responsibility to be in the best shape I can be, mentally and physically, for games and practices.

I am a 5'5" female libero and have been playing Volleyball for as long as I can remember. The game has always been in my life in some shape or form and being on the court changes me into, what I think, the best version of myself. My greatest goal for myself is to be open and willing to improve myself in all the ways that are necessary to become the best I can be and the most useful for the teammates and classmates I interact with.
