I am a two sport athlete and I love being a part of a team. When I became a freshman in high school I had already played two years of volleyball. I decided instead of being a three sport athlete I would like to play club volleyball. It was one of the best decisions I have made. It brings me new opportunities and strengthens my abilities as a setter over a longer period of time. Every second on the court brings me joy as well as motivates me to be my best. Working with a team and succeeding as a group has always been one of my favorite things about volleyball as well as any other sport.
Academics are very important to me. I am striving towards majoring in business, psychology and minoring in the performing arts. I am motivated to succeed in my academics as well as in my athletics. I have been a 4.0 student for most of my life and I intend to keep it that way. I always focus on getting my work done and staying determined in anything I do.
Having exceptional grades has also pushed me to try new things. I was the ASB Secretary in Middle School, the freshman class treasurer my freshman year and currently I am the ASB Secretary at my high school. For the past five years I have been participating in a club called FCCLA where I strive everyday to become a better leader. In middle school I was an officer of our chapter, as a freshman I was a Co-President of our chapter and currently I am the Vice-President of our chapter as well as the State Vice-President of Region 2.
