Alyssandra Ordona '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aly Ordona.  My ultimate collegiate goal is to get a college degree in my chosen field of study in Sports Medicine.  However, I would like to accomplish getting my degree while also pursuing my love of competing in volleyball at the collegiate and national level.  I know that I would make a great candidate for any college volleyball team because of my versatility and passion for the sport.  

I am very knowledgeable of what is required of me for both front row and back row positions and can successfully compete in all the positions asked of me on the court.  I have played multiple position on the court, and although I may not be the tallest player on teams that I have been on, I have always been inserted to play in the front row.  I have played mainly as a middle blocker, and outside hitter.  However, I also played as the backup setter, middle back, and left back on occasion.

My parents taught me to always be humble and be willing to learn, but to also be competitive and give it my best at everything I decide to pursue.   This is how I believe I will succeed at the next level of volleyball and in life.
