Alex Darby '20 Recruiting Profile

I have played volleyball for 6 years and have always given 100% in practice and games as well. Would like to continue to play at collegiate level while continuing my education. I am planning on majoring in education. 

My immediate goal is to help my high school team win state this year. We came up just a little short last year in 2nd place but hope to better that this year. 

I want to play college volleyball because I love the game and excitement it brings into my life and I see it as a great way to pay for my college education.  I also love competition. 

I would be a great asset for a team because I work hard and give everything I have every game and practice. I'm always trying to be a better player and person. I started varsity for Spring Valley since my freshman year and have gotten MSAC All Conference twice.  I also have gotten first and second team All-State. 

A scholarship is a priority for my volleyball career and I'm looking to stay close to my home in Huntington, WV. I want to find the right school for me so I can be happy.
