Personal Statement

I am currently a Senior volleyball player at Baldwin Woodville High School in Baldwin, WI, class of 2023.  Our BW Blackhawks are coming off a successful 2021 season as Middle Border Conference Champions, Regional Champions and advancing to the Sectional Finals. Playing sports has been a significant part of my life. I would love the opportunity to play at the next level.

I have been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old and in the fourth grade. In my heart, I am 6 feet tall and have loved every minute of volleyball.  I continued to play through middle school and high school as well as playing libero on the BW Heat club team.  This past club season, I received recognition at the 2022 NCR Smackfest All Tournament Team 17U (North Country Region-USA Volleyball). I am currently a three-year letter winner and had the opportunity to play in our regular rotation as a defensive specialist in all three years in my high school career.  I am excited to be a captain this season for our Varsity team.

Beyond the volleyball court, I am a three-year varsity letter winner on the basketball team, being a 3-year starter as a point guard.  In the Spring, I can be found at the softball diamond playing outfield or most recently third base.  I have been a starter in all seasons, earning all conference and all district honors.  Our softball team has been conference champions, regional and sectional champions as well earning two trips to the WI state tournament, finishing as State Runner Up in 2021.

Outside of sports, I actively work two part time jobs, effectively balancing academics, sports and work.  I have been very effective with time management, remaining well organized and responsible in all area.  I currently am a member of the National Honor Society and Students Offering Support as well as a TAP/Tutor at Greenfield Elementary School.
