Olivia Robertson '20 Recruiting Profile

From 4th grade on, I knew I loved volleyball. I started out at my small private school on the B volleyball team in 4th and 5th grade, and then played on both the A and B team in 6th grade. I then moved to just the A team in 7th grade, where we made a trip to the Lutheran Schools State tournament. I also played on my first club team in 7th grade as well. My eighth grade year brought a new school and new challenges. I made the 8th grade A team and continued to grow as a player.  

I am a great all-around player with a positive attitude. Playing on a team is a very rewarding experience, as it challenges me to be a better person on and off the court. I have played my first 3 years as a Middle Hitter, but moved to Outside Hitter at the end of my Sophomore year in high school. I also played RS hitter in club that year as well. It was a challenge, but one that I took on, and have grown into a player who can run all positions in the front row effectively.  My flexibility and drive to work hard are what sets me apart from my competition.

Getting good grades is also very important to me. I am striving to exceed a 3.6 GPA throughout high school, while taking AP, and Honors classes. With athletics being a huge part of my life, I would like to pursue a career in Athletic Training in college and will work hard in order to play for a college that fits my skills and drive for excellence.
