When I first started to play volleyball in seventh grade, I knew it was different from all other athletics. I loved every aspect of it, and since my freshman year of volleyball, I knew that I wanted to play at the next level.
As captain of my high school team, my overall goal for my team is to do well and love the game. When it comes to stats, I lead my team for overall kills. I also play back row and serve. I am comfortable no matter where I am on the volleyball court; my goal is to become a threat to the other team no matter where my position lies.
However, academics are first and foremost . My current GPA is a 3.71 and I scored a 26 on my ACT. My goal in the classroom is to maintain a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
Outside of sports, I am also a member of NHS, Vice President of student council, and represented my school at the Wisconsin Leadership Seminar. I also play drums at my church
However, out of all these activities, volleyball is by far the greatest and most exciting thing I have ever done. It isn't just a game, it's the game I love.
