I am currently enrolled at Bryant & Stratton College, where I have finished the first semester with a 4.0 GPA with straight A's. Along with this I am currently enrolled in the General Management program due to the fact they don't have the field of study I am interest, thus being the best option of transferable credits after two years. While I am excelling in the academic side of things, I am also doing the same in athletics. Here at Bryant & Stratton I am given the opportunity to play both indoor & beach volleyball. During this past season of indoor , I finished 36th in the nation for amount of total blocks. While averaging a .309% in hitting. Above all, this was all accomplished while having a torn rotator cuff (discovered in October 2019). This problem is getting fixed as of February 2020 and will be healed by July-August of 2020. Here is the link to the seasons footage, I recommend watching the following dates ( 11-10-19 ( Heavy Blocking Game)). https://wisconsin.bscbobcats.com/fanzone/streaming make sure that when on this link go to the women's volleyball section .
As only a freshman in college, I plan to continue on my athletic career far past Bryant & Stratton, after just two short years. In this time I plan on continuing my growth of knowledge of the game as not only a player, but as a person. I am different from other recruits based on the fact of my background of volleyball. I got started at a much later age than all girls. I started playing volleyball through school at the age of 12, this just giving me exposure to the sport. Not realizing there was a whole world of club, once I discovered this I became involved at the age of 16. I stared playing on a small regional team that consisted of 10 girls. Then once I got a taste I wanted more, I wanted to grow as a played , so I tried out for Fusion Volleyball Club. Making the national team selection at the age 17. This helped me grow immensely as a player, but I knew I still had so much more to learn, so I stayed after on Friday nights for private lessons always putting volleyball first before friends. This is because I knew that it would help teach me skills that I could use not only on the court but also off the court. I then continued playing club the following year for Fusion, opening a door of opportunity I was told so many times I would never see. The opportunity to play college volleyball. From this year came many offers, and I chose the opportunity that was best for me one the bestowed not only indoor but to beach as well, another passion in which I hope to pursue beyond my two years at Bryant & Stratton.
In the end the thing that sets me apart from other recruits is that fact that I am highly motivated to continuing playing beyond my two short years at Bryant & Stratton, the dedication I have to give almost all waking hours to volleyball, my perseverance to do what people said I can't, and most of all the urge that I have to keep growing in both on court and off court, physically and mentally.
Beach Season starts in January of 2020. This will be updated at the end of the season.
