Charlotte (Charley) Casey '26 Recruiting Profile

Since I was young, I have always had the dream of playing sports in college.  Understanding the difficulty in doing so, I have worked extremely hard over the last several years, both in the gym as well as the classroom, to improve my skills in hopes of getting that chance.

I have had the opportunity to start in both Varsity Volleyball and Basketball as a Freshman. This experience has allowed me to not only build my athletic skills and confidence, but also my leadership skills.  I am a sponge when it comes to coaching, and am always eager to learn.  Having the chance to play for multiple coaches during the year, through High School and AAU, gives me a chance to continue to grow as an athlete and leader.

I take as much pride in the classroom as I do on the court.  I continue to maintain a high GPA and understand the future importance of doing so.  I am on the High Honor Roll as well as part of the Student Leadership Team. Being a committed student in the classroom directly translates to my work ethic on the court. 

My goal in selecting the right school for me, will be one that provides me the opportunity to push myself both academically as well as athletically. I want to continue to grow as a leader both in the classroom and on the court at the college level.
