I began playing volleyball at 8 years old. I was always one of the taller players, so I focused on front row hitting, outside and opposite. By my 11's year, I officially switched and decided to focus on opposite, while still adjusting to other positions as needed. Being a left handed player made opposite easier to play, but I always love the challenge of hitting line or those hardcore cross shots to zone 2. During my 14's and 15's club season I was a all around player, hitting opposite front row and setting out of back row. I have always been a versatile athlete, and I've always been a competitive player, striving for the win. I was a starter on my high school 2021 varsity team as a sophomore. Playing at Sky High Volleyball club has made me a better athlete in all different kinds of ways. The amazing coaches and the awesome players have all helped me get where I am today.
I have fallen more in love with volleyball and I've become a better student as well, making sure that grades are always number 1. I have a 4.0 GPA, I am apart of the National Honor Society, I've made Honor Roll both my freshman and sophomore years, and I volunteer at my school. I go to every open gym and contact day I can during the summer, along with private lessons. Doing anything to make me a better athlete mentally and physically. I am a very uplifting, positive teammate, and a competitive, hardworking, optimistic athlete to teammates and coaches. I have a lot of devotion and desire for volleyball, and I am looking for a college that is going to push me both academically and athletically.
