Emma Peterson '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was nine years old, but at seven years old I watched my brother play and wanted to be like him and hit as hard as him. Nine year old me had very big dreams for such a little girl but I didn't let that get in my way. I was ten years old the first time I walked into a college volleyball arena and the first thing I said to my mom was, "Someday that's gonna be me!". Since then it has been my main dream/goal in my volleyball career to play at the next level. 

One thing my coaches tell me is they always know I can come in handy when we're short a girl, no matter the position she plays on the court. I have been put in Outside, Rightside, and Setter. But my main position (and my favorite) is Libero. This season my coach has me focused on setting, as one of our setters is out for injury I have been covering for her. 

As a homeschool student, I have learned to manage my time very well and strive to be a great student.
