Daryn Schaefer '22 Recruiting Profile

In college, I would like to play volleyball and continue my education in Elementary education. I have been playing volleyball since 4th grade and since I was little, playing volleyball in college has always been a dream. I started playing club volleyball when I was 12 years old after playing a younger league of volleyball for a few years. I am always motivated to learn new things, push my teammates, develop as a player on and off the court, and hold myself accountable to be a high honor roll student. While on the court, I am a passionate player and strongly heard by my teammates while playing. I also play basketball and softball at varsity levels, so in the winter and spring, I am always working on conditioning and getting ready for volleyball season. Being a three-sport athlete, I have really learned over my high school years how to manage my time between sports and academics. I am continuing to work for my dreams by putting maximum effort into everything I do. I am excited to find a school that best fits me academically and athletically.
