Volleyball has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and this year I am honored to be the team captain for the Monona Grove Varsity Volleyball Team. I am a versatile player who is highly competitive and a strong team leader. I pride myself on being coachable and never giving up easily. I am determined to master every skill and will work tirelessly until I get it right. Throughout my career, I have played various positions, including outside, right, and middle, adapting to wherever the team needs me most. I love playing all around, especially getting involved in serve receive and defense.
In addition to playing, I have coached middle school youth and refereed for competitive adult co-ed leagues. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the game and enhanced my leadership abilities. I am also a member of my school's sportsmanship committee and a leader in the athletics program, where I work to promote fair play and positive values among my peers.
Beyond volleyball, I participate in track and earned the rank of 2nd-degree black belt in karate. Martial arts have taught me discipline, focus, and perseverance, allowing me to stay mentally strong in the toughest situations. I've competed at the highest levels statewide and nationally, holding several titles.
Academically, I am equally committed, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.881. My intended undergraduate major is pre-med, with a goal of becoming an Emergency Room Physician. I have successfully balanced school, volleyball, extracurricular activities, and working throughout the year. I would love the opportunity to connect with you to discuss how I can contribute to your program.
