I first became interested in volleyball by watching my cousins play in high school and college. I started playing in second grade and had my first experience with club at age 10, enjoying every opportunity to play. I have been playing back row from the very first year of club. I have learned that being a libero requires focus as well as strong communication with your teammates. I believe that each person has their own unique role on a team, but together they can accomplish so much more. As a sophomore, I was honored to receive 1st team libero in our Division 1 Classic 8 Conference and All-State Honorable Mention.
I enjoy the intensity of the game and with my coachability and communication skills, I am an excellent leader on the court. My interest is to pursue a career in the healthcare field and I aspire to become a registered nurse or physician assistant. I have watched my mom work as an ICU RN for many years and would like to follow in her footsteps.
My goal is to play volleyball at a very competitive level and attend a college that will ensure a solid academic education while pursuing my career goals of working in the healthcare field and helping others.
