Alison Karr '20 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball at a young age. Growing up I was exposed to many other sports, but volleyball was always my top choice. Throughout grade school and middle school, I played volleyball through my school. In eighth grade, I played on the 15s A team for West Salem Club Shock. I made a goal for myself to make the varsity team my freshman year, I successfully accomplished this goal and played libero on varsity my freshman year.  As a sophomore and junior, my team voted me to be a captain and played all around in the left back and on the outside hitting. This taught me a lot about team leadership. Currently (2019) I am playing for V-Hawks Xtreme 18 Adidas team for my second year. I love being a leader on and off the court. I strive to try new things and bloom where I am planted.  My goal is to compete at the college level and continue playing the game I love.
