My collegiate goals are to get a fabulous education for my future and play volleyball! I am a team player, not an individual player. You will see that I am always one of the first to encourage other team mates on a great hit or set. As a team leader, I encourage other team mates to continue to strive to play their best. Although my primary role as been libero, I’m willing to step into any role that would benefit the team. I would rather help others achieve a great score and win as a team than try for “all the glory”and lose the point for the team. Whether I’m on the sidelines or on the floor, I’m one of the first to Acknowledge other team mates successes! I am coach able. I encourage feedback so that I can continually strive to improve my playing ability that will result in success for the team! I love the game of volleyball and bring energy every time I step onto the court whether it’s practices or games. My confidence in passing the ball is the first step to a great play!
In addition to playing volleyball, I am focused on getting a great education. I am organized, and goal driven. Having received the Girl Scout Gold Award (equivalent to the Boy Scout Eagle Award), I have proved I am a leader in the community who has shown the highest level of leadership in an issue that I feel passionate about -recycling and composting.
In closing, if I am given the opportunity to play volleyball at a college level, my main focus is on what I can do to ensure success for the team!
