I have been playing volleyball since 6th grade, I started out playing on a YMCA league and then continued on to a Junior Olympic league where I have been playing through high school. Freshman year of high school I was the starting setter. Freshman year of Junior Olympics I played as the libero but also an outside hitter when we were short players. Sophomore year of high school I played as a right side hitter along with some setting during games. Sophomore year of Junior Olympics I played mainly as a right side so I was also able to set a bit during games. The summer before junior year of high school I started putting more time in as a right side and during the season I was the starting right. Junior year of Junior Olympics I was also the starting and only right side on the team. Senior year of high school I played as a right side and during the current Junior Olympic season I am playing as an outside hitter. I am a very versatile player and I can adjust quickly to change. I believe that playing all of these positions has made me a better player and more valuable to a team. I would enjoy playing volleyball in college because it has always been part of my life. I work extremely hard at practices and during off seasons to continue to better my playing ability.
