Hey! Hailee McClure here from Basin, Wyoming. I have been playing volleyball since 3rd grade, and fell in love with the game then and there. I have had multiple coaches over the course of my career, this fact has helped me become more adaptable to new coaches and new ways of playing. I started playing club ball 4 years ago (as soon as I was old enough to participate in our area). I am an all-around player that is an asset to my team. I am open to new things and willing to learn, making it possible for me to play wherever the coach finds I am needed most. I have played in almost every position a team could need.Setter, hitter, libero, and defensive specialist.
Two years ago our club team qualified and participated in AAU Nationals in Orlando Florida. This experience showed me that teamwork and leadership come hand in hand. From that experience I understand the importance of taking charge when needed and stepping back when it is necessary. I am responsible and attentive at practices and with my academics. I love team spirit, and I am very good at cheering on my teammates and keeping us motivated. Volleyball is a team sport, and we are only as strong as our weakest player-therefore team unity and support is essential. My goal in high school is to be in the top of the class, it is important to do well in academics so that you can get where you want to go in life.
