Aurora Starks '23 Recruiting Profile

       My name is Aurora Starks. I am in my junior year of high school and will be playing volleyball on the Rock River High School Girls school and AAU Volleyball team. The game of volleyball to me is more than passing, setting and hitting. It is about TEAM. T in team stands for team player. E in team stands for encourager.  A in team stands for attitude. Last but not least, M in team stands for making a difference, and when you play the game with TEAM in mind, it really does make a difference. Teamwork and team comradery is so important to me when playing team sports especially volleyball. Teamwork makes the game so much more fun, and when you have a good attitude and are encouraging each other throughout the game you win. Winning doesn't always have to be winning a match, it could be achieving personal or team goals. Or it could be playing your hardest 100% and knowing you couldn't of gave anymore effort. I love to compete and consider myself highly competitive. I am excited to see what God has in store for me.
