Emily C ShootingPersonal Statement
My name is Emily Clapham. I am 6 feet tall, and I play as a defender and utility player. I have committed to Santa Barbara City College 2021-2023 and so happy to play with Coach Chuckie Roth in California. I am finishing my 1st year at SBCC, and I am focusing on an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology.
My club coach was Mich Roy with Fraser Valley Water Polo and my 16U team won Gold in May 2019. I then played with SB 805 and our 18U team finished 13th in July 2021 at JO's. In my freshman year with SBCC, I played 34 games with a total of 40 points including 25 Goals, 15 Assists and 53 Steals. Our amazing team finished 2nd in the State Championship, and I earned an ALL- WSC honorable mention. My plan is to transfer and continue to play Water Polo while completing my undergraduate degree in Health Sciences.
