I am Stephanie Kaufmann, and I desire to play water polo in college. Currently, I am a Junior at Clovis East High School with a 4.2 GPA. I am both an accomplished field player and goalie. My strongest attributes are my upper body and leg strength, which give my passing exceptional range and accuracy, and my tenacity. I will graduate from Clovis East High School in June 2013.
I have been playing water polo since the fourth grade. I have also been a member of the Clovis Elite Water Polo Club team since it was established three years ago. My teams have competed in numerous tournaments, including the Junior Olympics since 2009 and Winter Fest in Southern California, since 2007. The teams I have been on have always placed in the top 3 at Winter Fest and in 2011 my team placed 14th in Junior Olympics.
I have an older brother who is just completing his first year of college and a twin brother who will begin college at the same time as me. Due to the financial needs of my family, I have been looking for and applying for scholarships starting this year.
