Diya Johl '23 Recruiting Profile

I love playing sports more than anything , but most of all Waterpolo. Waterpolo is such a competitive sport that requires a lot of self motivation as well as team effort. I have learned a lot about working together in a team and making sure we can see each others weaknesses in order to help each other. I am a great candidate  for the team because I am a team player who focuses on my teammates getting better as well as still making sure I get better each and every day. I make sure that I manage my school work and  sports equally making sure I don’t prioritize or jeopardize one. Waterpolo isn’t’t a sport about who is the best it is also about making sure we respect our peers and coaches while still being competitive. 

I have had a hard life and had to grow up when I was young. My mom passed away when I was 10  and dad wasn’t ever in the picture. I have a wonderful family that now takes care of me.
