I am a strong student athlete who envisions her college years to be filled with both growth and milestones. My goal is to explore a business and marketing major that will position me well for business school. In the pool, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team as a leader, communicator, and a role model. I expect my college time will be focused on studies just as much as training in both the pool and the weight room. I work hard and set strict goals and expect those around me to be just as dedicated. I follow my own four pillars of success. 1. Physical skills/training, 2. Education in both the classroom and the pool, 3. Team over self (no one player is better than the team) and 4. Self Awareness (knowing when and how to push myself and when to rest). As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college water polo career, I will endeavor to be an asset to the program and my school. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect in and out the pool, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school that I attend.
I want to be on a team that values my mentality, my drive, and my desire to work hard and win.
