Hello Future Coach, 

I need to express my excitement about the opportunity to play water polo in college. Life has thrown me a number of curve balls and through all the craziness my love for water polo and passion for this sport has been the one constant thing that has stuck by me. I have learned everything from waterpolo and have my resilience, astounding communication, and sportsmanship thanks to this sport. My goal is to not only become an athlete but also a dedicated student. I did not have it easy the beginning 2 years of highschool and let my grades and academics slip away from me. Though I am having to make up for those years now with dedication, I am striving for academic excellence, and will not let my grades at the time define me. I am committed to balancing my academics and athletics, knowing that they go hand in hand. I believe that being a part of your team will provide me with the chance to grow both in and out of the water. It sets me apart from other girls because I have the mentality of the game, and have been named the most spirited, and motivational throughout all 4 varsity years.
