I have been a competitive swimmer since I was 7 years old and decided in 7th grade that I wanted to mix my love of the water with a competitive, team sport and I found Water Polo. I now play Club Water Polo for Palos Verdes, coached by former Olympian, Robert Lynn, and have played varsity Water Polo for Redondo Union High School since my Freshman year, under coach Shelby Haroldson (Univ. of Santa Barbara Water Polo Player). I have worked hard and have been fortunate to have earned awards, including: 2017/2018 High School 1st Team All Star (Bay league), 2018/2019 CIF Southern Section Region All-Star and 2019 ODP All Star Team member. I have also helped my teams win the following; 2016/2017 SS CIF Div. 3 Championship, 2018 16U Junior Olympics Gold Medal and 2018/2019 SS CIF Div. 3 Semi-Finals. I am the sprinter on my Club and High School teams and did the same for my 2019 ODP All Star Team and I play a Utility role, comfortable operating at any of the positions. I am passionate about my academics as well and I am maintaining a weighted GPA of 4.31 while taking challenging Honors and AP courses and I achieved an initial ACT score of 33.
I am a team player and I bring my best to help my teams win and I have been fortunate to make a lot of friends while I play. I am enjoying every minute of playing the game and look forward to continuing when I go to college.
