Sarah Shaw '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a college that will challenge me academically, allow me to play the sport I love at a competitive level and help me find my place not only with my peers but in life. Graduating with the skills that will prepare me to serve and be successful in life is very important to me.

Leadership and cooperation are two vital skills I possess that make me a successful student-athlete. During my two seasons at Presentation, I received the MVP award and was a team captain both years.  

Having been a multi-sport athlete since I was four, I have developed effective time management skills and a good work ethic. I am able to balance a rigorous academic and competitive athletic schedule, succeeding at both. While competing at a high level in academics and athletics, I have been able to maintain a 3.9 weighted GPA while taking two honors classes each year. 

My academic and athletic experiences have contributed to a mental toughness I use to support both my team and myself which I believe is a valuable asset for any program.
