2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I am excited to continue to play Water Polo as a goalie and study Art and Animation at the University level! I am a senior year at Santa Monica High School. I am the varsity team captain and Co-MVP and it is my 4th year as the varsity starting goalie for Santa Monica high school (go greenies), We went to CIF quarter finals freshman and Senior year and semifinals Sophomore year . I placed 1st team in League Junior and Senior year and on the ocean league for my sophomore year of playing. We have won league for Santa Monica High School every year. With my club team I have played in Junior Olympics 5 times and placed 2nd in Gold division during our first year playing back in 2016. I have attended ODP for 5 years and played for Texas SW zone, Coastal Blue and was placed on the Coastal Red team for the past three. I have trained with Tony Azevedo and Michael Zellmer for goalie and did a pre JO clinic in 2019 with Tony Azevado and Peter Hudnut. I have played club polo with Westside Aquatics from 2016-2020 I have played with Trojan Waterpolo Club since 2020 and was at Jr Olympics with Trojan as their only goalie for U18 girls July 22-25 2021.
