Tessa Crown '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

 My name is Tessa Crown; I am currently a senior at Royal High School in Simi Valley, CA.  I have been on Varsity for 3 years and JV for one (started on Freshman team and brought up to JV).   I have been awarded MVP twice, Coaches Award once, and Coastal Canyon League Team 2019/20.  I feel my positive yet aggressive and competitive attitude in the water and my caring mother-like nature out of the water makes me a good teammate.  In my short 4 years playing water polo, I have competed in numerous tournaments in 16u and 18u, qualified to play in the USA Junior Olympics twice placing 4^th the first year and awarded Bronze the next.  I played softball for 5 years as a first baseman and catcher, culminating with the Western World Series winning  Silver.   I feel what sets me aside from other players in any sport I’ve played is my drive to always improve on myself, whether it’s on a skill, physically, and/or mentally.   I always strive I do my best.   Even on the bad days, nothing makes me happier than playing water polo.
