Hi my name is Kat, I'm a senior in high school who would love to peruse water polo in college. As a student it is important for me to attend school with good academics that matches the work I have put into my grades through out my high school years. Being a student with straight 4.0 GPA it has been hard for me, at times, to balance both sports and academics. But doing so I feel like it reflects my skills to manage time and balance my activities healthily. What I have found though is that this sport needs to be a part of my day in order for me to have a good balance. I cannot have a day where I just study and do not practice and that is why I wanna continue doing water polo through my college years. To continue to maintain this balance of academics and sports which makes me happy. I have done many activities such as include myself in my schools GSA, National Honors Society, the human rights club and also my schools swim team. I am also a born and raised citizen of Slovakia in Europe and moved to America only 5 years ago and yet I adapted right away which shows my quick adaptation skills to new environments such as your school. As a upper classmen nothing more brings me joy then being able to be an example in the pool and out. Being in the pool with my team and being able to compete with them is what makes my day better and I wanna continue to do this in the future for your school.
