Amelia Sanchez '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amelia Sanchez and I go to school at Daniel Pearl Magnet high School but I play water polo for Birmingham high school. For 11 years of my life I was completely dedicated to Irish dancing but had also done water polo in the summer just for fun, nothing too competitive but going into High School I wanted a change. I started to have more of an interest in water polo and became more serious. I joined the Supreme water polo club about a year ago and realized I want to play and excel at a college level. I am hardworking and a team player who always strives to do better and  with academic goals as well. Academics are just as important to me than water polo with interest in being a political science major.
